But anyway, unless you can prove that your son and his girlfriend are unfit to be parents then you will not get custody.....Age does not define good parenting skills, which you have demonstrated. You need to be supportive, they know they've made a mistake and they're trying to make the best of a bad situation. We teach children from a young age the importance of family and sticking together, how can you condem them for wanting to do that? It's a hard situation and i feel bad for you, you should encourage them to continue some kind of study/ learning programme still of course. you won’t get custody unless they are bad parents. They are young and yes they may have made a mistake but it doesn't mean they cannot be parents and raise a baby. how about you give them a chance? how about you help them if they need it? don't be demanding or say your doing this or that wrong, just help. Do not over step cause in many cases this will hurt you and you cannot take custody unless they are unfit as parents and you have to have proof. be a grandma and raise your kids and take care of your life, don't try and take there child. My husbands b*tch a** ex mother in law took custody of is daughter and he hasn't talked to her in years. she used crap from when he was a kid. he has no rights. he hates this lady with a passion and he lost his child in the process. do you really want to be that person? you are GRANDMA not mom or dad you will never take their place.
